Overcome ADHD with this "2nd Brain" System for Men in their 20s

Stop. Breathe. Focus on the next 5 minutes.

To conquer ADHD you need a system that can hack your brain. You need a 2nd brain to keep you on track. We're already cyborgs, we might as well be badass cyborgs who get shit done am I right?

The Core Components

Here are the core components of the system that I spent 10 years developing.

  1. Idea capture - A way to capture ideas instantly before they are lost.
  2. Tasks are life - Make everything a task that you track and check off a list.
  3. Start early - To hack your brain you need to get it into a positive dopamine feedback loop as soon as you wake up. More on this later.
  4. Be consistent - Streak tracking can tell you when you are slipping up and reminders can be the nudge to keep you on track.
  5. Time blocking - Know what you are doing in every moment by setting up dedicated blocks of time.
  6. Reward yourself - When you do well give yourself a reward.
  7. Be healthy - Sleep well, eat right, and exercise.

Before you get overwhelmed - you don't have to do it alone. I made this AI app to help; you are just going to click a few buttons and give it a prompt and it will turn your phone into the 2nd brain you need. Ready?

Set Up Your Second Brain

  2. Sign-in

  3. Navigate to the settings page and enable notifications. The reminders are crucial and you'll love them.

  4. Navigate to the rewards page and enter this code to get 100 AI Credits EBC9HM

  5. Navigate to the chat page and at the bottom click "Voice on" & "Auto-approve on" - this will let the app talk out loud to you and automatically make edits.

  6. Navigate to the chat page and paste this prompt in and hit send:

Scan this on your phone to open this post there, then use the button below to copy the prompt straight into the app.

Help the user overcome his ADHD & build a routine. Be empathetic and understanding but don't get side tracked. Help him become his ideal version of himself.

TASKS:

Create tasks with category "morning routine" and priority 1 for: brush/floss teeth & tongue, wash/moisturize face, review Scythe tasks and blocks for the day

Create tasks with category "evening routine" and priority 1 for: brush/floss teeth & tongue, wash/moisturize face, check the Scythe stats page and chat with AI to refine my system

Create tasks with category "work" and priority 6 for: 2-4 hours of deep work, no social media during work block

Create tasks with category "exercise" and priority 3 for: do 25-50 pushups, do 25-50 situps, go for a 15-30 minute walk

Create tasks with category "urgent" and priority 9 for: ask the user what are 3 urgent things he's been putting off that he needs to get done and add them as tasks in that category

Create tasks with category "todo" and priority 2 for: ask the user what are some miscellaneous chores or errands he needs to get done and add them as tasks in that category

Create tasks with category "hobby" and priority 5 for: ask the user what is one thing his soul cries out to do that he hasn't done in a while and add it as a task in that category

BLOCKS:

Create a block for "morning routine" for 1 hour starting at 8am Daily but ask the user what time he currently wakes up and adjust the block to start 30 minutes after that time.

Create a block for "work" for 4 hours starting after "morning routine" Daily but ask the user what time he starts work and adjust the block to start at that time. If he doesn't have a job add "work on resume" or "find job" as tasks instead in the "work" category.

Create a block for "exercise/shower" for 2 hours starting right after the "work" block Daily.

Create a block for "urgent/todo" for 2 hours starting right after the "exercise/shower" block Daily.

Create a block for "hobby" for 3 hours starting right after the "urgent/todo" block Daily.

Create a block for "evening routine" for 1 hour starting at 10pm Daily but ask the user what time he currently goes to sleep and adjust the block to start 1 hour before that time.

Ask if he wants blocks for meals and if so create blocks for breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the appropriate times based on when he wakes up and goes to sleep. Make sure exercise is before a meal block so he isn't digesting during exercise.

REWARDS:

Ask the user for 1 big reward, and 2 small rewards that he can give himself when he does well and add them to the app. If he can't think of any, suggest some based on his interests and add them to the app.

REMINDERS:

Ask the user if there are any important deadlines or events coming up that he needs to be reminded of and add them as tasks with reminders. Also ask if there are any recurring tasks or habits he wants to be reminded of and add them as tasks with recurring reminders.

GOALS:

Ask the user what are his goals for this year and make sure his tasks and blocks are aligned with those goals. If he doesn't have any goals, help him set some based on his values and aspirations. Focus on realistic achievable goals for health, finances, relationships, and personal growth rather than vague goals like "be happy" or "be successful".

KILL BAD HABITS:

Discuss the user's current eating, sleeping, smoking, drinking, and exercise habits and suggest improvements based on his goals and preferences. This could lead to tasks for "no sugar", "no chips", "no smoking", "no alcohol" etc.

Important - Only ask the user 1 or 2 questions at a time and wait for his response before asking more. The goal is to build a sustainable system that he can stick with, not to overwhelm him with a bunch of tasks and blocks that he'll just ignore. Keep it succinct and easy to read. Also make sure not to double up on tasks/blocks/rewards/reminders - read what you have already created before making changes to avoid duplicates.
  1. That's it! Just chat with the AI one message at a time and you should be good to go! The system will keep running for free forever. The only thing that costs money is the AI credits and speech detection but you can invite friends to get more credits or sign up for Pro for essentially unlimited access (up to 75 msg per day).
